ABOUT DR STRENGTH
rICHARD DE REEPER
Richard lives, breathes and sleeps fitness!
For the last five years, Richard has worked tirelessly to become a fully qualified Personal Trainer, build up an extremely satisfied client base, to recently establishing a sustainable and thriving business, which is going from strength to strength.
It is Richard's vision to improve the physical and mental well being of Marlborough locals so that they can live healthy enjoyable lives.
Richard is an avid reader and enjoys giving back to the community, highlighted by his volunteer work with Marlborough Boys College.
The 8 week learn to lift program which Richard runs in conjunction with local colleges, aims to teach the students how to lift weights safely, how to train effectively and build strength and confidence. Richard is very passionate about this initiative and raises funds for the program to keep costs down for his student clients.

At DR Strength we have fitness programs to cater for all people and budgets. From the beginners to the dedicated gym junkies, there is something for everyone! Choose from one-on-one personal training sessions to weight lifting classes or bootcamp, DR Strength does them all!

I started off with Richard at DR Strength a year ago when I was struggling with my weight and lacking motivation to exercise again. Within 6 months I had lost 10 kilos and gone down a few dress sizes, which is something I have struggled doing for quite a long time.
Richard is incredibly motivating, knowledgable, accommodating to injuries and has great banter! He pushes me when I need to be pushed during sessions and will push me towards my goals by upping the weights or harder versions of exercises which is hugely appreciated. The sessions are always a lot of fun and everyone has a good laugh while pushing hard.
